Network Co-ordinator

Dr. Mohammad Mohi Uddin (contact info: mohammad.uddin@idrn-dairy.org and WhatsApp: +8801757543911)

has working experience on two network: 

1. International Farm Comparison Network (IFCN) Dairy Research Center under University of Kiel, Germany which has a network of 80 research partners from 120 countries and 140 dairy companies; 

2. Asia Pacific Animal Feed Network (APAF-network) operated by FAO where he had been working as Network Coordinator. The network was about feed resource management in 17 Asia Pacific Countries. 

He has done PhD and Post-doc from Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany in collaboration with IFCN and Göttingen University.  He has international experiences on dairy farm and dairy sector analysis and published about 50 papers (peer review, conference proceedings and working papers). He has travel around 23 countries from Europe and Asia. 

Currently he is working as working as Network Coordinator of the IDRN and he is also Professor and former Head, Department of Animal Nutrition, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh-2202, Bangladesh. He is heading a research group of Dairy Nutrition, Economics, Environment and Marketing. 

He has completed 15 research and leading three PhD resarch fellows on developing dairy benchmarking tool, developing bio-economic model for milk price setting and roughage value addtion technology through baling technique. 

He is currently working in collaboration with Department of Livstock Services (DLS) under LDDP for applying the IDRN on database generation. He also established partnership with PRAN dairy Ltd., and Solidaridad Network Asia (SNA). 

He is Bangladesh Country Partner (Level B) with International Farm Comparision Netowrk (IFCN), Germany.
